Biography
With over 25 years’ experience in the information assurance and security domain, Chris is currently working at C-Suite level leading with several cyber, information protection and resilience challenges. Previously, Chris has led the delivery of some of the most demanding national security programmes in the UK, the US and EMEA, operating at the very highest levels of government. He is uniquely qualified to understand the evolving threat environment, as well as having an exceptional track record of driving and delivering change in complex organisations. Amongst a plethora of awards and accolades from the UK and US, Chris’ contribution to the world of Information Risk was recognised in 2016 by his qualification as a NCSC Certified Professional Lead Security and Information Risk Advisor. Chris is co-founder for the West of England Cyber Cluster and sits on its steering committee. He is also a research fellow at Bath Spa University and the US National Defence University.
When not fully immersed in the world of cyber, Chris is a British Cycling coach for a regional youth & female riders. He is blessed with a very understanding wife and three daughters. In the sliver of time remaining, he enjoys reading and road bike racing!
